October 22nd, 8 a.m. – Loxahatchee Slough Bike & Hike @ Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park, 8175 PGA Boulevard Palm Beach Gardens. Discover the trails of Loxahatchee Slough with the help of Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) during this unique tour that incorporates cycling and hiking. The Bike & Hike will meet at Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park located on PGA Blvd. From there we’ll bike 5 miles along the Bluegill trail and then hike for 1 hour (1/3 mile) then bike back the 5 miles to Sandhill Crane Access Park. It’s a total of 10 miles biking and 1 hour of hiking. The hiking will go through ankle to potentially knee deep water….this is truly “Adventure Awaits.” Part of the Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resource Management’s “Adventure Awaits” program. October 22nd, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Barks & Beaches Fundraiser @ Abacoa Town Center. This event celebrates the 22nd anniversary of Friends of Jupiter Beach and is a Family event encompassing all things dogs and beaches. It will have food, music, vendors, dog wash, pet adoptions, silent auction, contests, demonstrations, children’s activities, and much more! Although FJB has been recognized with achievement awards from both the Town of Jupiter and Palm Beach County, it receives no government funding of any kind and is supported solely through fundraisers and donations from an appreciative public.
October 23rd – November 26th – The Audience @ Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 East Indiantown Road, Jupiter. For over sixty years, Elizabeth II has held private weekly meetings with each Prime Minister, from Churchill to Cameron.
