Sunrises: December 7 – 11, 2015

Since moving to my apartment on the intracoastal waterway in 2013, I have attempted to take a picture of the sun rising over the water each day.

Monday, December 7, 2015 – Clouds upon clouds upon clouds

A few people have ridiculed my photography.  “You take the same picture every day!!,” they say.

But it’s definitely not the same picture.

The sky is unique each morning – different colors and textures, cloud formations and rainstorms.

Heck, the sky is in constant flux from the time I crawl out of bed until I run out of the door to the office.

Not for one minute is the sky still, frozen in time.

Tuesday, December 8, 2015 – Dark clouds

So, I’ve decided to share my daily sunrise (or lack thereof) photos here each week, possibly with a little chatter about what’s been going on in my life besides exploring the JUP, eating, and reading.

Wednesday, December 9, 2015 – 6:30 a.m. – Clear sky trying to peek through with all its might!

However, in the midst of creating this post, something extremely exciting happened to me…

I got engaged.

P proposes at The Breakers.  A great big “thank you” goes out to Wings of Time Photography for the beautiful photos. (www.wingsoftimephotography.com)

So, needless, to say, I’ve totally lost track of all blog posts and photos for the last 7 days.  I admit, I am behind in my posts and I apologize.

Just because I’ve already got a head start, I’ll finish up last week’s sunrise pictures for you.  I’ll try again next Monday to get a full set of morning photographs for you to enjoy.

Thursday, December 10, 2015 – Thick fog on the intracoastal waterway.  Boaters beware!

Thursday, December 10, 2015 – Palm Beach emerges from the fog.

Until then, let’s celebrate that the sun is actually shining!

Friday, December 11, 2015 – More dark clouds loom on the horizon.

Unlike last week (see above), we’ve had sunny mornings the past few days, which I have left undocumented due to excitement. And, EVEN BETTER, a cool front is expected to roll through here tomorrow night.

Get the hot cocoa and firewood ready!

xoxo,

JUP Girl
