The Saga of the Sailboat that Never Moves

I have a confession to make…

I currently do not live in Jupiter, Florida.

Yes, I know, I may have mislead you with the title of this blog.  I am a Jupiter native but right now I live on the Intracoastal in West Palm Beach.

It’s really not a bad view.

As long as I have lived here, there has been a small sailboat anchored in the Intracoastal in front of my building.  It has not moved for four years.

I began taking sunrise pictures to post on Instagram and to send to family in frozen northern states in winter.  One thing they always noticed was the ever constant sailboat.

It’s always there through all seasons, all kinds of weather, and all times of day.

Who could the mysterious owner of the sailboat be?

The Lonely Island and T-Pain?

20000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)

Kirk Douglas in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea?

Christian Bale

Or better yet, Christian Bale in Captain Corelli’s Mandolin?

But seriously, whose boat is it???

The saga continues.
